Jenny Bax has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Underwriting Agencies Council.
Ms Bax has a wealth of insurance sector knowledge, with more than 30 years of industry experience and a proven track record in successfully leading distribution, underwriting and operational teams.
She is a founding member of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance’s General Insurance Faculty Advisory Board and its current chair.
Ms Bax re-joined Ansvar Insurance in May 2022 as National Development Manager. She was previously with Allianz where she was General Manager for Underwriting Agencies. She has held senior national and international positions at QBE and has worked at CGU Insurance.
Ms Bax starts as CEO at UAC on Monday 30 January 2023 and looks forward to meeting members at expos and education seminars.
